Twenty Artizen creators. One week of connection, co-creation, and hands-on work with the land.

What becomes possible when creators put down roots together?

This fall, we’re bringing 20 Artizen creators to Traditional Dream Factory in Portugal for a week of connection, co-creation, and hands-on permaculture work.

We’ll live and work together: sharing projects and skills, forming new collaborations, learning from one another, and contributing directly to the land through regenerative practice.

We want people to leave with deeper relationships, stronger work, and a clear sense of what becomes possible when culture, technology, and regeneration share a foundation.

Share the work

Bring your project into the room, exchange skills, give useful feedback, and find collaborators you would not meet anywhere else.

Work the land

Contribute directly to TDF through hands-on permaculture and regenerative work. The land is a participant in the week, not a backdrop.

Music, movement, art, shared meals, and cultural exchange create space to have fun and connect beyond the scheduled sessions.

A working village for regenerative futures.

Traditional Dream Factory is an intentional community and regenerative project in Alentejo, Portugal. Its gardens, gathering spaces, woodland, and everyday rhythms make the site an active teacher for the week.

Different systems. Shared ground.

Community as infrastructure.

Both Artizen and TDF see strong communities as the foundation on which they stand. TDF builds an intentional physical community and distributes governance among community members; Artizen builds funding systems around creative communities and gives communities a direct role in deciding which projects receive support.

Experimental spirit.

TDF explicitly experiments with new models of land ownership, governance, regeneration, and community living; Artizen experiments with new mechanisms for funding human creativity.

Backing people at the frontier.

TDF is a home for creatives, systems thinkers, builders and regenerators; Artizen seeks unusual projects at the frontier of art, science, technology and culture, including ideas that traditional institutions overlook.

Technology in service of human coordination.

Both use Web3 mechanisms to coordinate resources, participation and governance around shared goals.

Creating conditions for people to make things that matter.

Alongside Touch Grass.

Artizen House will take place at the same time as Touch Grass, creating opportunities for participants from both gatherings to meet through selected shared activities and exchange, while each gathering keeps its own rhythm and purpose.
